Description

  • Near mint Dave Brubeck Quartet Columbia “6-eye” stereo original LP “Time Out” (Columbia CS 8192).
  • This 1959 original LP is on The Absolute Sound (TAS) list for recordings of special merit.
  • The quartet consists of Dave Brubeck (piano), Paul Desmond (sax), Eugene Wright (bass) and Joe Morello (drums).
  • The tracklist includes his most famous piece “Take Five” plus: Blue Rondo A La Turk/Strange Meadow Lark/Three To Get Ready/Kathy’s Waltz/Everybody’s Jumpin’/Pick Up Sticks.
  • The glossy LP looks and plays near mint. I’m unable to see any spindle marks on the labels. The cover is also in excellent condition with no splits or cutouts. There is a very small tear in one back corner and some light wear primarily on the bottom seam.
