Description

Here is a great 1981 release on the Telarc label (DG 10056/57). Robert Shaw Conducts the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in a performance of Orff's Carmina Burana, featuring vocal performances by Judith Blegen, Hakan Hagegard and William Brown, followed by a performance of Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes by Carl Maria Von Webber, featuring the Atlanta Boy Choir. This is the original double-album German stereo pressing. Includes original insert. Much loved by audiophiles.

Condition - The jacket shows light wear including sticker residue on front and light damage at the top of the spine. The jacket grades at VG+. The records are shiny with light hints of use and they need to be cleaned for dust. The records grade at Near Mint Minus.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
