Description
The Absolute Sound – long standing recommendation: “The Weavers Reunion at Carnegie-hall”
Recorded on location at Carnegie Hall 2nd and 3rd May, 1963, at two historic concerts celebrating
the 15th. anniversary of the Weavers. Vanguard Stereolab VSD 2150.
This is the Original Edition Vanguard colored label which is almost extinct and hard to find.
The LP is in great condition and is well preserved. (See grading below)…

Mint / Mint– This grading only applies to really outstanding items.
Record and jacket in exceptional condition – virtually same as a new copy
This grading allows for manufacture’s original promo stickers or distributor’s logo/address sticker.
Near Mint: This grading is probably the top grading for used records.
Record and jacket appears in outstanding condition with allowance for evidence of ownership:
* Possibility of superficial scuffs (visible under very strong light) and conceivable “ghost-scuffs”
caused by inner-sleeve or by un-lined/un-padded inner sleeve; these scuffs should not affect play.
No ticks. Low surface noise. Shiny glossy surface. Possibly few spindle-hole marks.
Jacket in great condition, no split seams. *Allowance for minimal corner wear, signs of slight ring wear.
This grading allows for manufacture’s original promo stickers or distributor’s logo/address sticker.
Excellent+/++/+++ (Some call this category “Very Good”…)
This grading is probably the most realistic for the majority of well preserved used records.
Note that not all of the “allowance categories” specified are necessarily present or co-exist
on the same record, when grading the record.
LP: Shiny, clean surface.
* Allowance: for superficial scuffs (visible under strong light) and “ghost-scuffs” caused by inner-sleeve
rough opening or by un-lined or un-padded inner sleeve. Those scuffs do not affect play.
* Short passage with sporadic and not very pronounced ticks that do not deter from the listening pleasure.
Jacket: Nice and sturdy: No split seams. * Might show trace of limited shelve-friction wear on the corners
and/or along the folding spines. * Thin layer cracks on coating, partial coating pill-off due to storage or age,
* Traces of sticker(s) successfully removed without damage to the cover. * Traces of paper aging-stains,
*Slight yellowing, or discoloration of white paper especially on the back.
This grading allows for manufacture’s original promo stickers or distributor’s logo/address sticker.
Normal Good/+/++/+++:
* Record: shows few scuffs and light surface or some floor-noise, occasional ticks, short passages
with not too much of a pronounced ticks that do not hinder stylus tracking. Some spindle-hole marks.
* Jacket with noticeable crashed edges, bended corners, pronounced ring-wear, stickers present.
* Stickers removed causing damage to the cover, cover’s cut-outs.
This grading allows for manufacture’s original promo stickers or distributor’s logo/address sticker.
This seller dose not handle LPs that might be graded lower than the Normal Good grading.
