Just an awesome recording: powerful, fluid, truly amazing - easy to appreciate why this record is so sought after.
SLEEVE CONDITION
EXCELLENT
Great sleeve, strong and fresh - no rips, tears or marking. Flipbacks fresh and sharp with no shelf or handling fold backs to them. A very very slight ring mark to back opening edge.
(COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL INNER LINER)
VINYL CONDITION
PLAY CONDITION: NEAR MINT
Wonderful: no pops, no stops virtually no background at all - essential with the various lulls in the composition.
VISUAL CONDITION: VERY GOOD+ / EXCELLENT -
Great sheen, labels great. Sleeve condition and general appearance indicative of the record having had very little play. Does have a couple of very light marks on side one, and some handling (sleeve scuffs) to both sides - visible only in very strong light when held at a certain angle.
GRADING
I use the Record Collector Magazine grading system:-
Unless the record is still sealed I don't use MINT at all.
However great the sleeve is I virtually always describe them as Excellent; I will state if there are any very minor faults - anything major and I just won't list the record.
With regard to the vinyl itself I will state it as Near Mint if it is visually without fault; Excellent vinyl may have exceptionally minor / barely visible none sounding marks. I will not list vinyl in less than Excellent condition unless it is unbelievably rare.
I do background play test the vast majority of LPs, and study test rare/expensive ones.
Having bought from EBay myself I appreciate that Near Mint covers a multitude of sins - I do spend considerable time trying to ensure A1 quality and will refund you if you're disappointed.
