PHIL SPECTOR’s first record, an all-time classic, was only released on 45 RPM discs in the US. Only outside the great 48+2, in Canada, could bobby-soxers get this gem in its superior-sounding 78 RPM format.
This sound sample is unaltered, to provide you with a sense of how the record plays. It segues into the middle of the song, where the voice blasts, and would sound distorted and worn in a well-played copy:
Condition:
VINYL: Plays with some “gravel,” which a careful cleaning will minimize. Sound is strong and clear. Surface has some light scuffs. A solid VG+++/EX- copy!
Fragile shellac disc will be carefully packed. We advise non-US bidders to expect higher-than-usual shipping fees, due to the security measures necessary to get this disc safely to you.
