Description
First, “Metronome Presents Jazz in the Garden at the Museum of Modern Art”. Recorded at The Museum of Modern Art, NYC, August 25, 1960, this is a Warwick W-2033 1st mono pressing featuring The Teddy Charles New Directions Quartet with Booker Little on trumpet and Booker Ervin tenor sax who have rarely recorded together. The Teddy Charles signature is on the back upper right.
· Vinyl: The LP has never been played, and a visual review of both sides shows no marks or scratches. Vinyl cleaned using a VPI record cleaning machine before shipping. Any spindle wear occurred during the cleaning process.
· Labels: White with black text and Warwick logo at the top.
· Covers: Front and back cover surfaces show very little age wear: no marks, edge tears, corner cuts or seam splits.
· Sleeve: Original onion skin paper sleeve.
Second, “Something New, Something Blue”. Recorded in NYC in April and May 1959 this is a Columbia CL-1388 “Six Eye” original mono 1st pressing featuring Teddy Charles as composer-arranger with an all-star personnel. The Teddy Charles signature is on the back upper right.
· Vinyl: The LP has never been played, and a visual review of both sides shows no marks or scratches. Vinyl cleaned using a VPI record cleaning machine before shipping. Any spindle wear occurred during the cleaning process.
· Labels: Classic Columbia Records red and black with six-eye symbols.
· Covers: Front and back cover surfaces show very little age wear: no marks, edge tears, corner cuts or seam splits.
· Sleeve: Original printed paper sleeve.
