Okay folks get yer ‘Mod Money & Powerpop Pounds’ at the ready because you will need them for what is one of the most sought after 7“ circular black platters from the Mod Revival era. The same sold on eBay, in February 2010, for $461. Everyone loves this record so expect a battle. Here's your chance to buy this legendary `79 Mod Revival classic from good old England. A superclean pressing in tip-top condition. You will be the second owner. This, as you can see comes with a xeroxed copy of the folded one-sided impossible to find photocopied sleeve. Please check out the UK punk Discography 45 Revolutions. The note in this outstanding Punk / Mod / Powerpop Discography is: 150 HOUSED IN XEROXED FOLDED PICTURE SLEEVE. The band includes Edward Ball from the O-LEVEL and Mod super-group the TIMES. You are bidding on the first 7” release by the TEENAGE FILMSTARS. Band members also include Dan Treacy and Joe Foster of TELEVISION PERSONALITIES. Both tracks are superb and both songs are, music wise, in the same league. These Mod footstompers named ‘There’s A Cloud Over Liverpool’ and ‘Sometimes Good Guys Don’t Follow Trends’. Pressed on Ed Ball’s own private mini-Mod label ‘Clockwork’ (catalogue number COR 002) in 1979. Here's your chance to add another Edward Ball record to your Mod Revival / Powerpop collection. Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of £20 or €25 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of £2 or €2,50.
