Here’s a real WORLD CLASS item for any Jazz collector! Norman Granz presents “The Jazz Scene” !!!!!

This was a limited edition! Only 5,000 were made in 1949 and all were hand signed by Norman Granz. This copy is # 518 (and numbers under 1,000 are much scarcer than higher numbers!)

Scads of gorgeous photographs abound in the set….all focused on the hottest stars in 1949’s Jazz Scene!

There are SIX records in the set and all Six are in gorgeous E to E+ condition. This set was lovingly cared for and after 60 years it shows! The only “flaw” is that a couple of the records have minor “cuts” on the labels and a couple of them have very light scuffs which do not affect the play.

The album cover, holder and all photos are in gorgeous like new condition.

For the next several weeks, I will be selling a collection of original Folk, Blues, Jazz and Ethnic records which originally belonged to a photographer who worked primarily for Look Magazine back in the 1940’s and 1950’s. He was heavily into the music of the poor and mis-treated both here in the USA and all over the world. The records are, for the most part, in remarkable condition with just minor age spots and occasional honest wear. But, he really cared for this music and kept everything in as best a condition as he could. You will see titles seldom, if ever, seen on eBay and in condition that rivals the world’s finest copies. Your records will be mailed with plenty of cardboard around them in nice DEEP boxes with lots of packing peanuts etc. all around them for extra safety.
