Description
This is an 8 7/8" 78RPM Japanese PICTURE DISC on Teichiku A-101. As you'll see in the photos attached below, the A-side features a nice lake view with a Pagoda in the background. The B-side image is of a field and hillside with deer in the foreground. I'm sure you'll agree that either side would make for a nice display piece.
As best as I can see, the vinyl/shellac is in very good (A-side) - very good plus (B-side) condition with a few whispy sleeve marks and light scratches. I noticed that the A-side has a matte finish across the grooves and center area, while the B-side grooves and label area are glossy. When I put this one the turntable, I noticed that there's a light rise as it spins.
Also included is an original Teichiku paper picture sleeve, and since I can't read the text, I'm not sure if this sleeve originally came with this picture disc. The picture sleeve is in good condition with a record impression, dings/wear/curls at the corner points, light storage/ring wear, light aging, a 1/4" x 2" open tear to the left edge of the front cover to the left of the clapping girl, and several tears along the curled/bent top edge and edges with some thin white lines showing that may look like tears, but that are thin scratches to the printed surface (see the girl to the right of the back cover). Also included is an original double-sided lyric sheet, and since I can't read the text, I'm not sure if this lyric sheet originally came with this picture disc or the picture sleeve, although it was found inside the picture sleeve. The lyric sheet is in very good condition with light aging, small light corner bends, a small dogeared corner, and a light storage scuff at the top corner of the Teichiku logo'd side. This is a RARE & COOL Teichiku/picture disc collectible, make sure you bid on this one today!!!
Buyer pre-pays the winning bid price and $4.00 Media Mail S/H for postage, mailing package and packing materials in the good ol' USA (insurance extra if buyer feels necessary). For winning bidders from Canada, buyer pre-pays the winning bid price and $17.00 USD for International First Class postage, mailing package and packing materials. Canadian buyers please note that eBay has changed the shipping calculator so that I'm unable to list a stand alone S/H cost for Canada as I previously was able to, and I ask that you wait for me to send you an invoice with the correct S/H amount before you make your payment. For winning bidders outside of the US and Canada, buyer pre-pays the winning bid price and $24.00 USD for International First Class postage, mailing package and packing materials. For multiple International wins, please wait for me to calculate the S/H before you make payment (see note below).
PLEASE NOTE: If your INTERNATIONAL winning bid(s) are $99.99 USD or more, it will only be shipped via Priority or Express Mail (whichever is cheaper) to allow for the package to be covered by insurance for the actual winning bid amount for added security during shipment to protect us both against loss or damage of the item. For an INTERNATIONAL winning bid totaling $99.99 USD or more, the cost of Priority or Express Mail, insurance and all associated customs fees for the full value of the winning bid will be paid by the winning bidder, so please be aware of this when bidding. International winning bidders, PLEASE DO NOT request that I list your item on the Customs form as a gift or at a lower value than the actual winning bid.
