Description

TELARC Digital Stereo DG-10056/57 – Carl Orff: Carmina Burana, Paul Hindemith: Symphonic Metamorphosis, Robert Shaw, Atlanta Symphony and Chorus, (1981) – This early digital recording has been highly praised for its amazing sound quality.  The sound is full, rich and warm with wonderful 3D imaging and hall ambiance. It is set on a wide stage with the famous big TELARC bass drum.  This copy is virtually perfect – I purchased it myself in 1981 when it was first released, and have played it only a few times since then. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is perfectly quiet, with NO marks. The vinyl looks and plays MINT (M).  The labels also look new, as does the insert.  The jacket is NM- with only very minor shelf wear along the bottom edge (see photos).  In summary, this is a nearly perfect copy of this wonderful early audiophile recording.
