Description
TEN YEARS AFTER. STONEDHENGE LP
Brown Deram label, first pressing, stereo, made in Australia.
Cat. no. SMLA 1029.
Matrix numbers stamped in runouts:
ZAL-8564 - 1W
ZAL-8565 - 3W
Condition of vinyl is EX. This record is shiny and unmarked. There's crackle audible in quiet passages, but this could be down to needing a clean after 46 years.
Condition of cover is EX. Solid, bright, no writing, no tears, just the lightest sign of handling and age as you'd expect, a safe 8/10.
Labels are clean and bright, minimal spindle trails.
Quite a trip listening to this again to play test it, after many years of not hearing it. Prog blues, with a jazzy edge that they hid later when they focused more on the rock and boogie end of things, after I'm Going Home at Woodstock made them a household name. And no wonder it's called Stonedhenge, there's a druggy haze all over this record... sometimes you wonder if they're still there, it goes so quiet with longish pauses, then they come back with a burst of rockin' guitar or a Hammond solo.
A note regarding shipping. This record will be sent Australia Post Registered Air Mail for overseas sales and Signature On Delivery for domestic sales.
I use professional purpose-made LP mailers.
