SML 1078 (STEREO) ON THE DERAM LABEL WITH ORIGINAL UNLAMINATED GATEFOLD PRINTED BY HOWARDS PRINTERS (ENGLAND) THIS COVER IS ABSOLUTELY SUPERBE VERY NEAR PRISTINE!!!!!!!!!!VERY RARE,COLLECTABLE AND SOUGHT AFTER STEREO EDITION!!! AUDIO IS RATED AT THE TOP!!! THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !! ONLY EVER PLAYED A HANDFULL OF TIMES IN 39 YEARS!!!!! THE BEST AUDIO THAT I HAVE HEARD OF THIS PRESSING!!!!

RARELY SEEN IN THIS CONDITION NO AUDIO SOUNDING SCRATCHES OR AUDIO SOUNDING MARKS!!!!!!!

THE VINYL

This is the original heavier and thicker type of vinyl only found on early pressings! Later press were much flimsier and lees robust!!! The vinyl lays perfetly flat on the turntable!!!!And looks awesome!

On visual inspection this vinyl is the original thicker heavier type of vinyl with deeper grooves and mor robust than later pressings that were much more flimsier!!! The playing surface looks absolutely superbe. I can't see any scratches or any marks that would effect the play at all. In very stong light very (very) few surface marks\scuffs can be seen mostly would have been caused by the vinyl being slid in and out of its cover. I have played this vinyl track for track and the audio is cristal clear and vibrant all of the way through. There is absolutely (no) skips or jumps nor any clicks or pops audio is graded at the top!!!! Please note! any who know this album would appreciate that there are many quiet parts and please allow for some static crackle\ticks which would be quite normal for an album that is 38 years old, and this would benefit from a constant clean before each play because this has been stored in a case for years, a build up of dust and dirt in the grooves after laying dormant!!!!. There is (no) distortion or signs of any grooveware at all or any indication that this has been overplayed!!!!! A truly superbe looking and sounding audio!!!!!! very very rare and collectable!!!!! IN MY OPINION THIS HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED A HANDFUL OF TIMES IN 39 YEARS!!!! THIS IS THE BEST AUDIO THAT I HAVE HEARD OF THIS PRESSING!!!! I REALLY CRANKED UP THE AUDIO ON THIS ONE! I THOUROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS VINYL!!!!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have tried to give my honest opinion as usual when describeing this vinyl and although i never heard any problems other than previously described, Please allow for the odd static crackle or ticks (not) consistant throughout the audio. This is a vinyl that is the original (not) a reissue! that is 38 years old and would have been played on a system of 38 years old!!!!!

THE LABELS

These are the original Deram labels that carry the cat no SML 1029 there is some. spidering can only be seen angled to the light. This has not been over played at all (IN FACT THIS LOOKS HARDLY PLAYED IN 39 YEARS!!! the spindle hole is perfectly round!!!!!

THE RECORD SLEEVE.

This is the original poly lined Decca Stereo sleeve in superbe with just fading\staining with age (no) splits or tares but general creasings please look at the photos! This is the original!!!!

THE COVER

This is the original fully unlaminated Gatefold cover Printed be Howards Printers (Slough ENGLAND) IS in superbe strong and strait condition with hardly any creases indeed to mention (no) splits or tares or nasty names written this is a superbe example with little if (no) storage ware to the corners they are nice and square (see photo) very rarely seen like this ever!!Please noter! there is a scuff mark that can be seen at the front also some general rubbing and ringware with ages (very common on this type of cover)!!!! Apart from that this is strong and straight!
