VARIOUS ARTISTS. Tenor Saxes. LP Columbia 33CX 10056 UK 50s flipback sleeve. Clef Jazz series. Ex+/Ex+
Lovely UK Norman Granz long player from the 1950s. Features performances from Stan Getz, Lester Young, Voleman Hawkins, Flip Phillips, Illinois Jaquet, Ben Webster & Charlie Ventura. Cover still very smart apart from some signs of pre-ownership. Previous owner has strengthened the seams with tape. There is also tape on the back of the sleeve. This has been done to strengthen the seam and not to fix any splits: Apart from this, the cover is absolutely beautiful. Record still in very strongest excellent shape. There is some faint needle marking when studied closely and the lightest and occasional non audible surface mark but absolutely no problems.
