Description
TENPOLE TUDOR - "EDDIE, OLD BOB, DICK AND GARY - RARE ALBUM" - GERMAN PRESSING.
Up for grabs is this German Import pressing on Stiff Records of the debut album from Sex Pistols and Swindle collaborator Eddie Tenpole Tudor.
After the minor success of Eddie's debut single 'Real Fun' he was signed by Stiff Records for the recording of this debut album, it featured the same zany elements as the wacky WHO KILLED BAMBI and spawned the massive hit single SWORDS OF A THOUSAND MEN, it also contained the singles WUNDERBAR and 3 BELLS IN A ROW and also featured the future punk classics HEADER NOW and GO WILDER making it a really strong debut album.
Interestingly this has survived really well despite its advancing years, the cover has the expected light edge wear and a small sticker removal mark which has been recoloured.
Also unexpected for a record of this age, the vinyl itself looks like a great example and retains a very good sheen, this has been well looked after, just a couple of light surface hairlines is all it doesn't look like it's now over 40+ years old.
Nothing to not like about this excellent record, a 'VERY' fine addition to any Tenpole Tudor / Sex Pistols record collection of note.
As always the photos are the best description of all, sold with no reserve, check out my other punk and Sex Pistols items.
