Description
This out of print Terrastock 7" box set was released by Time-Lag Records, contains five limited edition singles from The Sonic Youth, Bardo Pond, Charalambides, Stone Breath and The Itidarod.
In 2008, Time-Lag resissued a super rare edition of only 15 of these beautiful sets and sold them out immediately, exclusively through their mailing list. Yes, I typed that correctly: an edition of only fifteen. This listing is for a brand new, unplayed set from that 2008 edition, and is hand-numbered out of 15.
These records are totally gorgeous and letterpressed in different colored sleeves and housed within a wraparound letterpressed box. From what I understand, all of the material present on these 7"s is exclusive to these releases and has not appeared elsewhere.
I opened this box set earlier this year with the intention of snapping photos to sell it, but was so struck by its beauty that I couldn't bring myself to part with it... at the same time, I couldn't bring myself to play them either, so none of these records have ever had a needle set on them and only one of them has ever been removed from it's inner sleeve. They are are in perfect, brand new condition and other than the seel (a circular sticker, about the size of a quarter with the year "2008" printed on it) being broken, this is in brand new condition.
I am a bit torn up to have to part with it, but tough times call for tough decisions, so my loss is your gain.
Opening bid is less than they sold for through the label and there is no reserve.
This is one of the (if not THE) rarest editions of a release Time-Lag has ever put out, much rarer than the original edition of 500. Good luck finding this one again.

I take great care to make sure everything is packaged so that it gets to you in the same condition as described in the auction listing. It's extremely rare, but every once in a while something unavoidable happens in transit that prevents that from happening. I generally do not except returns, but I also want to make sure that bad situations are righted, so get in touch if an item arrives damaged or you otherwise feel something's wrong with your purchase.
