Here is a lovely rare record which looks and sounds great. No skips or jumps although there is some minor crackling on the lead in as only to be expected of a record that is almost 58 years old – hence the VG++ as opposed to EX. If you notice any whitish spots on either side of the record these are only specks of dust. See the pictures and judge for yourself.
Records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows, although I tend to go below what is allowable to ensure you are not disappointed when you receive the record:
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Some background noise may be heard. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
+/- indicates a grading in between categories.
Postage reflects true cost of delivery & secure packing in mailing envelope + the fact that eBay & Paypal now charge commission on postage.
