Scarce and excellent vintage soul LP featuring the genius of TERRY CALLIER on the CADET label, from 1972. 

Title is “What color is love.”  Catalog number is CA 50019. 

Guaranteed to be original and authentic.   I do not sell boots or modern reissues.

Arrangements by Charles Stepney.  Personnel includes:  Terry Callier and Phil Upchurch – guitar;  Charles Stepney – piano and electric piano;  Louis A. Satterfield – bass;  Donny Simmons and Morris Jennings – drums;  Alfred Nalls – congas and bongos;  Fred Walker – congas and percussion;  Kitty Haywood, Shirley Wahls, and Vivian Harrell – background vocals; plus brass and strings. 

Label is orange with pink highlights, and black print.  Label states "A Division of All Platinum Record Group" at bottom of label.

Jacket:   Jacket is in beautiful NM shape with nice bright artwork, clean white reverse, nice seams, spine, and corners.  The only flaw are three small check-marks in pencil on the reverse where the original owner indicated his preferred tracks.  Overall a beautiful jacket you will be proud to display.   

Vinyl:   Vinyl is stunningly beautiful NM, retains full brilliant gloss, appears to have been played sparingly, perhaps one or two times, and handled with care.  Labels are clean.  Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity. 

You will not find a nicer copy anywhere on the planet.  Last week I sold the companion piece “Occasional Rain” from the same collection.  I am certain the winning bidder will be totally pleased with this splendid copy of a marvelous album.
