Description

This is an original U.S. mono pressing copy of the debut LP by Terry Knight and the Pack, released in 1966.  From Flint, Michigan, the group featured two future members of early '70s hard rockers Grand Funk Railroad, Mark Farner and Don Brewer.  Knight himself would serve as the later group's manager and producer.  The Pack played garage rock (e.g., the album opener "Numbers" and a cover of the Yardbirds' "You're a Better Man Than I") and pop (a cover of the Rolling Stones' "Lady Jane," the single "I (Who Have Nothing)").  Most of the LP's tracks are original compositions credited to Knight.  The jacket is close to M- with light ring wear, discoloration, and staining on the back cover, and very light corner and seam wear -- EX(+).  Visually, the disc is clean with a little light staining and scuffing.  A couple of stains on side 2 create some crackling and a couple of light pops at the start of track 2.  Otherwise the disc plays with steady light to occasionally moderate surface noise and a stray light pop -- overall VG+.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
