Description

TERRY TIMMONS

GOT NOBODY TO LOVE b/w DADDY BE GOOD TO ME

7" VINYL RELEASED ON THE 'JUKEBOX JAM' RECORD LABEL

THIS WAS A VERY LIMITED RELEASE OF ONLY 300 COPIES PRESSED WORLDWIDE WHICH SOLD OUT VERY QUICKLY

THE VINYL IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION WITH A NICE SHINE TO IT

NICE CLEAN LABELS

IT COMES IN A WHITE DIE-CUT SLEEVE

SLEAZY R&B WITH A JAZZY EXOTIC FLAVA !

Immense early 50s Rhythm and Blues belter from a singer otherwise more often known for far softer material. Opens with a sleazed out, rasping horn pattern to wipe out all before it, before slipping into a swinging and rolling tom-drum and hand-clap rhythm and some knockout call and response vocals from Terry and her backup. The horns return sporadically to wild effect throughout, making this an effortless showcase of the art of ‘build it up and break it down’.
