Description

  • From 1974, this is an original private pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the rare "The 5th Cup: A Spirit Explosion", featuring Theodore Bikel.  Music is written by Gershon Kingsley (who performs on the piano, mellotron, and moog) and Norman Simon.  A weird record, apparently this was supposed to by a contemporary version of the Passover Seder.  There is a full band (organ, drums, guitar & bass) in addition to Kingsley.  There are definitely some strange electronic passages and some moments just waiting to be sampled.  Jacket is NM-, with the shrink wrap still intact.  LP is a shiny and clean NM-, showing at most a few faint paper marks.  Playback is strong throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear.  A nice original of this hard to find LP!  Buyer pays $9.50 priority or $4.00 media shipping in the US, $16.75 airmail overseas.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
