TITLE: Pop-Lore according to The Academy
ARTIST: THE ACADEMY
LABEL, YEAR OF RELEASE & OTHER DETAILS: MORGAN BLUE TOWN RECORDS,  BT 5001, 1969, FIRST U.K. PRESS...
MATRIX NO'S. BT-5001.A-1G / BT-5001.B-1G

VINYL:  EX both sides are very clean, barely a mark visible,

AUDIO: EX plays with no skips or jumps..

SLEEVE:  VG...Garrod & Lofthouse front textured matt single sleeve with flip-backs to rear, has tear to top left front as shown in photos. Also, there is scuffing damage along edges and to corners, with signs of ringwear to front. Pictures and text are clear,....

Overall, not perfect but still in a clean and presentable condition....

LABELS:  EX...lovely Blue morgan blue town labels, nice and clean!!...


INNER SLEEVE: EX, plain white, not sure if original 

but has that "lived-in" look to it...


GRADING: I AM NO EXPERT BUT TRY AND GRADE AS HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE...WITH PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

 I WILL ALWAYS POST WITH RECOGNISED MAILERS AND STIFFENERS...THE VINYL WILL BE SEPARATED FROM THE SLEEVE PRIOR TO MAILING....
