Condition is very good. Some light wear to spine, edges and cover. No tears or stains.
Vernon Joynson later went on to fame or notoriety, depending on your opinion, as the instigator of the US and UK garage / psychedelic discographies Fuzz, Acid and Flowers and Tapestry of Delights. This is his first attempt at documenting "psychedelic" music and at this stage has greater interest as an artifact or period piece than any kind of useful guide.
Topics include: The San Francisco Sound, Folk Rock, Southern California Psychedelic Punk Bands, The Psychedelic Scene in Texas, English Psychedelia and Psychedelia Reborn.
It contains entries for approximately 200 artists and is illustrated throughout.
