THE AFGHAN WHIGS Black Love (Expanded Edition) hails from 2016 and is a SEALED U.S. limited edition 180 gram 3LP set issued for Record Store Day (marked UPC and bent corner).  Founded in Cincinnati, OH in 1988, The Afghan Whigs have long stood out from their peers, with a savage, rapturous blend of hard rock, classic soul, and frontman Greg Dulli's searing angst and obsessions. The band's fourth album, the film noirish Black Love was released in 1996 and further built on their trademark mix of grunge, indie rock, soul and blues. The Whigs lay out dark, raw grungy grooves here for Dulli to sing his twisted lyrics to; a match made in heaven or better yet hell. Now available on vinyl for the first time since 1996 - the original album, remastered, with a bonus disc of demos!
