L_@_@_K :
The group´s name really says it all. The "soul" is unmistakably American, but the beat and the voicings range from Africa to Brazil. The results swing cool at any tempo, and always with that mixture of individuality and togetherness which is what Jazz is all about!
Miss Leni Groves can give strong emotional impact to a ballad or belt out a wailing uptempo thing with a youthful vitality which is contagious!
>>> Cover: slightest general wear, grades at least excellent+
>>> Vinyl: only a few scuffs from paper sleeving, grades at least excellent+ (and even better)
On the whole this is a wonderful copy without any audible detractions from a great listening experience!
***As there is NO "reserve price"-option at German eBay I had to list this scarce gem with a reasonable higher starting price - thanks for your kind understanding!
***This record is a MUST for any collector of Latinized Jazz, Brazilian Vibes and Soulful Grooves >> amazing music!
F.Y.A.:
