Description
This is the First Live Album by The Allman Brothers Band on Capricorn Records and was recorded over the course of three nights in March 1971. Bill Graham was the concert promoter and is considered by some to be the finest live album ever recorded. The album was selected by the Library of Congress as culturally, historically important by the National Recording Industry. Rolling Stone named the album as #49 in the 2003 list of The 500 Greatest Albums of all time.
There is 78 minutes of superb music on four sides.
The Gate Fold Album Cover is in near mint condition. No splits to the cover, however there is evidence of minor shelf wear at the edge of the bottom of the cover. The cover was rarely opened and the binding is like new and does not lay flat. The inside of the gate fold cover features pictures from the concerts.
The Double Album Vinyl with the Pink Label is in Near Mint condition and plays flawlessly.
The original Capricorn Records album sleeves are included. They are yellowed from age.
