THE ANIMALS ''ANIMAL TRACKS''    1ST UK PRESSING CAT NO.33SX 1708 ORIGINAL BLUE\BLACK COLUMBIA LABELS!!!!! 1965!  SUPERBE EXCELLENT ((MONO)) AUDIO! AWESOME 1ST ISSUE ORIGINAL GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK COVER!!  THE VERY EARLIEST PRESSING ''1'' ''H'' AND ''1'' ''H'' STAMPERS AND -1 -1 MATRIX!!!!! K.T. TAX CODE!!

Here on offer is an original 1st issue copy of The Animals 1965 UK pressing of Animal Tracks! This features the original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover in at least excellent plus condition and The original earliest thick and chunky slab of vinyl on the 1st issue Columbia labels,, complete with the original poly lined Emitex record sleeve. The vinyl plays through  Super vibrant and cristal clear on all frequencies, with a real deep bassey feel, only found like this on the earliest pressings there is some isolated light clicks or pops  heard on one track that I heard and some light general isolated static crackle but nothing too bad as to spoil the over all awesome audio effect in my opinion audio graded at excellent on side 1 in my opinion and audio graded at excellent plus on side 2.  A very playable and enjoyable copy just light interfearence only as described. This was pressed from the earliest master and features the first mother stampers! look ''1'' to ''1'' mothers! The original garrod & lofthouse flip back cover is graded excellent plus,, super glossy strong and very straight amaizaingly without any real storageware to mention! Very collectable and sought after like this! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!  

The Animals were an English music group of the 1960s that was part of the British Invasion. Known for their gritty, bluesy sound and deep-voiced frontman Eric Burdon, as exemplified by their signature song "House of the Rising Sun", the band balanced tough, rock-edged pop singles against rhythm and blues-oriented album material.

 The Animals underwent numerous personnel changes and emerged as an exponent of psychedelic rock before dissolving at the end of the decade!!!!!.

Animal Tracks is the second British album by The Animals, They were dubbed "animals" because of their wild stage act and the name stuck. This album was released in 1965!!!!!.

The Vinyl

This is the original 1st press HEAVY and thicker type of vinyl only found on 1st pressings later pressings were much more flimsier and less robust!! Also these have deeper grooves! From my experiance these originals produce the best audio quality and can not be surpassed!

On visual inspection this vinyls playing surface retains its original sheen from new. When angled to the light I can see some minor light whisypy surface marks/ scuffs only, importantly most of these do not have an adverse effect on the audio quality 

The Audio Quality

I have played this vinyl three times prior to listing at very loud volume, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! This audio is truly awesome cristal clear and vibrant throughout  with (no) signs of grooveware or that this has been overplayed at all! Please note! I heard some static type clicks at the intro to the 1st track on side 1. and the odd minor light static clicks during this track but again nothing too bad that spoilt the over all audio effect in my opinion.   during the play very little surface noise indeed quite unbeleivable for a vinyl that is 47 years old!, certainly (no) skips or jumps! In fact I really never heard any other major problems at all! Even between tracks and surface noise is absolutely minimal! A very very playable and enjoyable vinyl.  Audio graded as excellent in my opinion throughout on my systems!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have given my honest opinion as usual when describing the audio quality of this vinyl!  Please allow for the odd static ticks\ clicks/crackle here and there! (not) consistant through out the audio!! Please rtemember that this is an original 47 year old vinyl that would have originaly been played on a 47 year old system!  

The Labels

These feature the first issue Blue\black Columbia labels! Feature ''Sold In The UK....'' text across the labels (only 1st press) Also the K.T. tax code is stamped on side 2. (only 1st uk press)  Spidering can be seen angled to the light. This vinyl has obviously been played but importantly not been overplayed in my opinion!  There is little if no ware around the spindle it is perfectly round.

The Record Sleeve.

This is the original Emitex Poly line sleeve. Becoming fragile with age only with light staining creasing with age! This is the original. no splits or tares

The Cover

This is the original '1st' Garrod & lofthouse laminated front flipback cover! In absolutely awesome condition for 46 years old! Amaizingly no real creases worth to mention, super glossy in appearence. Very very hard to find like this after 42 years! There are no splits or tares no edge rubbing ! the spine is awesome all writing can be clearly seen! The rear is exceptionally clean! (normally seen very grubby, and storageware or age staining is minimal) see photos at top example! I would grade this cover at least excellent plus in my opinion!
