Description
I’ve been an eBay member for around 15 years with over 1600 100% positive feedback. I wanted to keep record sales separate and so this is a new account.
THE ANIMALS – ANIMALISMS – 1966 – MONO – UNBOXED DECCA LOGO – EX
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
The Animals 3rd UK album and first for Decca. 1966 original with unboxed Decca logo and K/T Tax Code on label. But, not the very 1st pressing as there is a slightly different label layout. Matrices: XARL 7225 1A and XARL 7226 1A.
The record is in incredibly good condition for 53 years old. It looks great, even under a white light. Run-ins are almost silent and the sound is great.
Cover is also excellent, no splits or tears. On the front, there is a smudgy mark just next to Dave Rowberry’s head and very slight discolouration to top left (these are very slight, but I mention them for completeness). The reverse is very clean. There is sticker residue and the number nine in green pen to top left and top right. There are some other numbers written inside the sleeve. (see photos).
I really think this is as good as it gets for a record of this age.
