THE APPLETREE THEATRE 'PLAYBACK' 1967 STEREO LP ON THE VERVE FORECAST RECORD LABEL SVLP 6018, FTS 3042 A-1 & FTS 3042 B-1 MATRIX NUMBERS

The vinyl is virtually unmarked, plays superbly and grades as excellent.

The labels are clean with moderate spindle marking.

The single one side glossy laminated sleeve is solid and intact with corner rubbing and laminate creasing. The flip side is grubby with visible ring wear and a name written in the top left hand corner. It grades as very good-.

This is one of the finest examples of the early psychedelia: This gorgeous minor-key album is a companion to such legendary psych albums as Love's "Forever Changes", Byrds' "Younger than Yesterday" or Beau Brummels' "Triangle". Play it and you will know why. And, oh, the classic cover art is one of the nicest examples of the substance-induced "mindtrip" cover art. The album includes a whole slew of great and prominent musicians including Rick Nelson, Larry Coryell, Bill Szymczyk (later the Eagles' producer), and many, many other. The album has NEVER been issued on compact disc and has been unavailable in any way, manner or format for almost 35 years.


Please note: All vinyl records are graded according to the UK Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide. They are visually graded and all records are play tested. Vinyl graded first then cover.
Records are packed securely complete with stiffeners, vinyl is removed from sleeves before packing to avoid seem splitting during transit, the vinyl and sleeves are always sent in polythene sleeves for extra protection against water damage.
