THE ARGONAUTS 7" LEE THOMPSON / MADNESS
APEMAN / UNDER MY THUMB - OFFICAL JAPANESE SILVER VINYL - 100 ONLY.
ULTRA RARE 7'' SILVER VINYL JAPANESE EDITION - ONLY 100 PRESSED. INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED,
THIS IS NUMBER #68/100
The Argonauts 'Apeman' 7" re-issue SILVER vinyl from Formosa Punk Records
The Argonauts were a side project of Madness sax-player Lee 'Kix' Thompson, backed by a band consisting of members of Scritti Politti, Charm School (another Zarjazz recording artist), Spooky Tooth and the mighty Soultanas. Their sole 7" Apeman/Under My Thumb released in 1986 is long since out of print and sought after among Madness fans. This single finally sees a reissue, this time around in a beautiful cardboard sleeve.
Up for grabs here is the Japanese edition in silver vinyl, a hand-numbered edition of 100 copies which comes with 3 The Argonauts badges.
