Sleeve is in very good condition overall, with just light wear and very light creasing to the front and back, with the spine in great condition. However someone has previously initialled the rear, and there is a dark line on the very bottom of the rear side. Due to these factors the sleeve is only graded as Good. G

Vinyl is in great condition, some extremely light surface marks that are far from anything that would effect playback or sound. The labels are the correct unboxed Decca red colour, with the ffrr marking and 1A matrix, indicating a first pressing. VG+

I am selling some gems from my father’s huge vinyl collection as he has decidedto sell most of it after around 60 years of collecting. I have scoured the internet for the best LP mailers I could find and settled onthe CLP Bukwrap mailers which are described as ‘indestructible vinyl record mailers’, so each item will be packedin these with the record between the paper sleeve and the cover inside anenclosing heavy duty plastic wallet as per best mailing practice. Theseparticular mailers can take up to 6 albums, so bulk postage discount isavailable for more than one purchase. Please message me for details on this.

Due to the majority of the records I’m selling being quite rare, I’ll only sendtracked and signed delivery to ensure your purchase gets to you safely and ontime, and so that we’re both covered in the unlikely event of loss/damage.

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
