ATTACK - Complete Recordings 1967-69. Acme Deluxe ADLP 1026. UK release. NEW UNPLAYED VINYL RECORD ALBUM. This item does not come factory sealed and will be shipped with the disc outside the jacket. 15-track compilation issued in 2000 and newly remastered in stereo for this release. This is an original 2000 limited edition pressing of 500 copies. CUMULATIVE MEMBERS, follows more or less a chronological order of the comings and goings: Richard Shirman (vocals), Gerry Henderson (bass), Bob Hodges (organ), Alan Whitehead (drums), David John (actually Davy O’List soon to be of The Nice, guitar), Geoff Richardson (guitar), George Watt (organ), Chris Allen (drums), Kenny Harold (bass), John DuCann (guitar), Jim Avery (bass), Roger Deane (bass), and Keith Hodge (drums) (for the various line-ups of the band).

DESCRIPTION: For the very first time, the complete recorded output of this epochal band, taken from the original master tapes, licensed from Decca; fifteen tracks of classic, oft-compiled UK freakbeat/psych, with hard-edged, sitaresque guitar, great vocals, and prominent organ—includes their five recorded singles (four were released) and b-sides, plus five tracks more. Formerly known as The System, they came to the attention of budding talent (hustler) agent Don Arden who got them a contract with Decca (UK) along with a name change to The Attack, issuing their debut single in January of 1967. Alan Whitehead left the group to found Marmalade; Davey O'List joined the Nice, and the rest of the band evolved into Andromeda with John DuCann later joining Atomic Rooster; limited edition of 500 copies. Great liner notes (on the back of the jacket) to curl up to while spinning this disc.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers with inside packing.

TERMS AND ABBREVIATIONS:
SS or SLD: Still Sealed or Sealed (or some variation of sealed depending on how many characters I have left in the title line). This item is new and unplayed. Also appears in the listing description as Sealed LP or Factory Sealed LP.
NEW LP: This item is new and unplayed, but was received from a supplier without being shrink wrapped or cellophane wrapped; more common on imports but also many of the smaller independent US labels do not seal their LPs. These items are placed inside of a clear poly outer sleeve upon their receipt by me

MIX: This sometimes appears in my title line and refers to a group's/artist's music having a mix of styles such a rock track with jazz then followed by a straight rock track followed by a psych rock track, etc., as opposed to a blues album with the album's tracks having predominantly one style.

Packages are usually shipped with in 24-hours, excepting weekends and holidays.
