THE AWAKENING "MIRAGE" LP - On BLACK JAZZ Records, #BJQD/15.  Original 1973 quadraphonic pressing in outstanding condition!  NOT A REISSUE.  One of the rarest & funkiest releases from the legendary Black Jazz label.  Includes the killer spiritual jazz funk tracks "Mode For DD", "March On" & "Slinky".  The personnel:  Ken Chaney/keyboard; Frank Gordon/trumpet; Steve Galloway/trombone & percussion; Richard (Ari) Brown/tenor & soprano saxes; Arlington Davis, Jr./drums & percussion; Reggie Willis or Rufus Ried/bass; Drasheer Khalid/percussion.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M/M- condition (beautiful sheen).  Appears unplayed!!  The textured cardboard cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully with just a slight hint of wear.  Small promo hole in upper right corner.  NO seam splits, NO bends or creases.  The songs are:  Mode For DD; The Ultimate Frontier; Just A Little Peace; Slinky; Mirage; Glory To The Sun; March On.
