THE B-52'S VERY FIRST SELF RELEASED SINGLE! Super rare and cool for a collector.
1978 Boo-Fant Tunes. Catalog # DB-52. Made in the USA. This is NOT the UK version.
Cover is in VG- condition. Vinyl looks as if it has never been played - M+/M- - however there is ONE mark on side A that looks to be part of the vinyl. Like it's not man made!
Comes with a white sleeve with record inserted in it with a code on it from the record store. You can remove and do your own thing, if necessary.
If I remember correctly, this version is DIFFERENT from the one that eventually made it on to their major label album. It's super lo-fi and sounds like it was recorded in a basement!

Their first single, "Rock Lobster", recorded for DB Records in 1978, was an underground success,[2] selling over 2,000 copies in total[4] that led to The B-52s performing at CBGB and Max's Kansas City[4] in New York City.

I've tried to fix it. Please be assured that yes, even though the cover is a VG- or G+, it looks way better than the pics represent. They won't scan!! Arrrggghhh!!
