Description
So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of a 1966 MONO UK FIRST PRESSING of the 'PET SOUNDS' album by THE BEACH BOYS. It is on the Capitol label, has the catalogue number T 2458 and has the collectible 'rainbow' labels. The sleeve is in excellent condition with just a bit of corner wear and a few small creases. There is also a small blue sticker on the rear of the sleeve which you can see in the second photo. The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable. Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with just some 'spindle trails'. The record surfaces have several marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve and they also have a discolouration - I do not know what has caused this. However, both play really well with only occasional light surface noise ('crackle') and occasional 'clicks/pops'. Definitely no deep scratches, 'jumps' or 'sticks'. I have priced the album to reflect the faults described above. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
