THE BEACH BOYS PET SOUNDS 1st UK STEREO PRESSING. CAPITOL LABEL WITH RAINBOW RIM AND THE DOME LOGO AT 9 O'CLOCK. GARROD & LOFTHOUSE PATENTS PENDING FLIPBACK SLEEVE. VARIANT 1 MATRIX: DT1 2458-B201/ DT2 2458-A19. VG+/VG+

My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (easily equal to an LP12), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge.

Played on my system this LP grades Very Good+ with just some minor background noise to run-in grooves, between tracks and occasional quiet parts, plus the odd soft tick. The single slip front laminated flipback cover grades Very Good+ with just some creasing to the laminate on the front bottom right corner (see close-up photo) and some wear to the top right corner (see close-up photo – I’ve glued a little paper repair to the inside of the corner just for future protection).

The inner sleeve is a standard plain white poly-lined sleeve. The record will be well packaged for safe transit - I used to sell a lot of records on ebay so I have a good packaging procedure.
