Description

Nice copy of the original 1966 mono pressing of The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds on Capitol T-2458. Scranton pressing with the IAM pyramid.  This copy is not perfect but sounds pretty great. The disc has some marks and scuffs but plays reallly well. Side one starts with 3 pops at the beginning of Wouldn't It Be Nice, but then the song plays fine. Some crackle between songs and then during some of the quieter parts. Still enjoyable, with no skips or loud pops.  The second side plays better, mainly with just light crackle between songs. The cover has a worn corner at the lower left (see photo), and a little peeling at the edges of the front artwork slick... but otherwise it is actually quite well intact, with crisp edges and corners. There is a cutout hole at the top right, which has been covered on the front by an old price sticker. A good decent copy all in all.
