LABEL: CAPITOL

LABEL no.: T 2458

COVER: VG++.   Very solid and super clean, crisp corners, slightest bit of ringwear, small sticker peel on back.

VINYL: VG+.  Super shiny and clean, couple of thin light hairline scuffs.

LABEL CONDITION: Capitol rainbow labels are very clean with hardly a spindle mark.

MONO/STEREO: MONO

COMMENTS: US original album.  One of the most famous and influential records of our time....Pet Sounds. The genius of Brian Wilson as he wrote, arranged, and produced this historical album.  It became one of the records which marked the beginning of the great psychedelic era of the 60's rock music, by using experimental instruments and recording techniques.  Although, at the time, the album did not sell or chart that high, it has long stood the test of time and remains today one of the GREAT gems of 60's music!!!   And its in MONO....the only way to be heard!!!

This is my 15th year of successfully selling records on eBay!!  I take extreme care in buying and selling ONLY vinyl that is NEAR MINT, or very close to it.  My goal is to keep the dream alive for the art of collecting and selling PROMOTIONAL albums, from the 60's and 70's in jazz and rock n' roll.  PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's.  AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!! 

ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!

 

I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!!   FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
