Description
This is a 2 LP set of The Beach Boys Smile. I believe this version was made in 1989. I played it once and copied it to cassette in May 1990. This is not the Capitol release so even though the album has only been played once, it may not have the sound quality you expect. I thought it sounded nice and was very pleased to be able to this when I did. These are the versions as they sounded in the sixties long before anything was done with them for the CD box set release a few years back. Includes a great promotional ad for the album as the last track! There is also a 4 page information insert on the album written by Domenic Priore, an authority on the Smile Sessions. The cover was not made of high quality cardboard. It has seam split in the center of the spine on the left side for about an inch. It also has bends in the upper right and lower left corners. (See the last three photos.) A small bend in the bottom right corner and along the edge of the opening. The cover is VG+. I have several other Beach Boys items listed at the time as well as many Beatles 45s and picture sleeves. I will combine to save you money on shipping if you contact me before making payment.
