Description
This is an auction for a rare EP, The Beach Boys, Surfin U.S.A.
This was released by Capitol records in 1963 and has catalogue number EAP1 20540.
Condition: The sleeve has some light discolour marks on the rear. There is also some damage to the mouth edge with a couple of small tears. Edges fine, complete and graded at VG. Please check the pictures on for clarifiacation.
Both labels are clean, Under closer examination some tiny spider spindle trails can be seen. The centre hole is fine and shows little sign of wear. Again please check the pictures.
The vinyl retains its near new shine. A few scratches can be seen, this could also do with a clean as a couple of finger marks can also be seen.
This record has been play tested.
Both sides play through fine, with a touch of very quiet feckling / surface noise heard in a few places. There are no consistant ticks or loud pops indicating that this may be down to dust / dirt. All four traks can be heard loud and clear with very little lessening in sound quality. Any surface noise heard is quiet and at no time can be heard over the music. The breaks between records are quiet with clean entries and exits.
This record is given a grading of VG, I have down graded this because it does have surface marks although the record itself plays closer to VG+, with there being very little lessening in sound quality.
