Hello and Welcome to my latest auction.I am auctioning off some Rare Items from my personal collection.I really hate to part with these but I need the money so now is the time to pass them on to a good home

The Beach Boys-Heroes and Villains(1967 US Capitol Original Mega Rare Withdrawn Picture Sleeve with Danish Single and Bonus Smile Mini Poster)

The Holy Grail of Beach Boys collectors.This was printed by Capitol in late 66/Early 67 to house the original version of "Heroes and Villains" which was supposed to be the lead off single of the Ill fated "Smile" album.When Smile's release was cancelled,this version of H & V went with it and the Beach Boys re recorded it and released it as a single in a completely different picture sleeve on their own label which was distributed by Capitol.

In the meantime,Capitol were stuck with 400,000 picture sleeves that they didn't know what to do with and sent a bulk of them to Scandinavia and a bulk of them to Canada(Where the original Catolog # was blacked out).The Rest were destroyed and are very rare today

This is an original US sleeve with the original intended catolog number intact untouched and is one of the sleeves that made it to Scandinavia because it houses a Danish Single.I have also included a miniature "Smile" poster that i picked up somewhere years ago that I can't even remember

CONDITION OF COVER AND VINYL:VERY GOOD PLUS(Cover has some very light rippling along the top loader of the sleeve on both back and front and a light turned corner top left,other that that some mild handling wear but is in very nice condition as can be seen in the pictures.Who even wins this will be please

CONDITION OF POSTER:NEAR MINT(One VERY TINY and probably miscible stain on the back but otherwise very nice

THE SOAP BOX(YES,I'M AFRAID SO): BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER,PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: In the past,I have had a number of problems with Bidders/Buyers that have gotten increasingly annoying and feel the need to express them here:

(1).POSTAGE RATES:Now that Ebay have introduced a new rule that you have to list postage rates for The US,UK and Australia,There should be no more confusion as to what the postage cost are to your country unlike previously as I was only allowed to post one fixed rate worldwide and it caused problems.In any case they are all listed in my description so you can refer to that as well

(2).I now no longer offer Surface Post as I have had too many problems over the past few years.I apologise to my customers who have used Surface post in the past and have had or have given me no problems over the last few years but unfortunatley,its the very many that ruin it for the very few

(3).I will no longer relist items that have not sold the first time as this has become too costly.The only exception will be if a bidder fails to complete his transaction,otherwise from here on in items get listed once only

(4).I Do not end auctions early so please don't ask.I don't condone this practice and I think that it is unfair to other people who have place bids on an item they are anxious to own and feel one bidder should have as much chance as the next when bidding on my items

(5).POSTAGE RATES OVERSEAS:Several people overseas have complained about the price of my Air Postage thinking that it is too high.Yes.I know it is expensive but this is what it cost me to ship from my part of Canada to your part of the world as the rates vary across the country depending on which part of Canada you are sending from.Even within Canada the Rates Vary when shipping from one part of Canada to another so this is why the prices are what they are.I make no money from this and quite often,I have lost money on postage so please take note of this

(6)NON PAYING BIDDERS:Due to the recent volume of late payers,PAYMENT IS NOW DUE IN 10 DAYS.You must contact me within 3 days of the closing of the auction.If I dont hear from you within 3 days ,I will send you a reminder and if you dont reply within a week then I will take the necessary action to resolve this matter.Sorry if this sounds harsh but enough is enough Once again,I apologise for dragging you through all this but something had to be said
