These records are in very good+ condition. There are some faint spindle marks on each label but there is not an excessive amount. There is also no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere and overall the iconic apple labels are clean, bright and in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, all four sides have a lovely lustre and show nasty, deep or serious marks. There is some light sleeve scuffing in places, some light surface lines and also a few patches of light groove wear. All these issues are light however and there is nothing sinister as I say. Overall both the used vintage lps show signs of this but also have nothing nasty and are still in good playable condition.
I play tested both the records and they both played well with enjoyable audio throughout. They lay flat on the deck with little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced has no skips, sticks or annoying tics and is generally far closer to a grade of 'EX' on each side. There is some slight surface noise in the run ins, between tracks and occasionally a hint in some of the much quieter parts but none of this is at all extreme. Overall all four sides played well and I enjoyed listening to every single track.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear, rubbing and cracking on the edges and spine. The spine has a crack/flap in the centre but this is not a split and it is still solid. The text along it is all legible and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks on the sleeve. There is no major creasing and only light ring marks showing on each side. There is however some discolouring and age spots inside the gatefold. These are at their worst along the top edges but there is also light grubbiness throughout. Overall a solid and decent sleeve but one that has a few age related issues as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible to its condition.
It contains both its original red lyric inners but these are both in a similar poor condition with large splits across near all of the edges. I will send the records in two brand new plain white replacement due to the poor and fragile nature of the originals.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
