Description
THE BEATLES 1962-66 RED ALBUM. RED VINYL. PCSPR 717. YEX 905 -3/YEX 906-4/YEX 907-3/YEX 908-3. EX+ VINYL/VG COVER.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (equal to a 1990s LP12 – I am not familiar with the modern ones that cost more than a small car), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge.
Played on my system, this double LP grades Excellent+ with just a few random clicks spread over four sides. The laminated Gatefold cover is VG. It has a small split to the laminate on the top left corner and spine (see close-up photo), some rubbing to the bottom left corner (see close up photo) and small splits to the bottom right corner (see close-up photo). The two red lyric inner sleeves are in good condition although each has a short split along the bottom seam (see photo) as is common with these inners.
Will be well packaged for safe transit.
