Description
Very early 1963 pressing of The Beatles first album "Please Please Me" on the Parlophone black and gold label with Dick James publishing credits. Mono edition.
Side one matrix number XEX 421-1N, mother number at 9 o'clock is number 1, stamper letter at 3 o'clock is A.
Side two matrix number XEX 422-1N, mother number at 9 o'clock is number 1, stamper letters at 3 o'clock are GR.
M ZT tax code letters are clear on the very clean labels.
Vinyl overall is very good plus, a few hairlines and a couple of light marks but plays through with no skips or sticks and just light crackling that is to be expected on a vinyl LP over 50 years old.
EJ Day/Angus McBean sleeve in very good condition, please see photos.
Includes original Emitex inner sleeve.
Records posted in sturdy cardboard mailers with stiffeners and in plastic sleeve.
