Description

I have been collecting, buying and selling Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for many, many years now. I know the importance of accurate gradings and descriptions which you will find here. I ALWAYS offer a money back guarantee.

The Beatles - 'Twist And Shout' E.P. GEP 8882.

The Beatles 1964 UK 2nd pressing of the 'Twist And Shout' 7" E.P with LABEL ERROR. This issue is far rarer than the 1st 1963 issue having sold far fewer copies.

This much rarer 2nd pressing features the 'Sold in UK....' text and SPELLING ERROR 'Do You Want a Know a Secret' on the side two label.

Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Recording First Published 1963' text and have the ‘Parlophone Co. Ltd’ rim print. In addition this rare 1964 issue ALSO FEATURES THE ‘SOLD IN UK’ TEXT. The ‘KT’ tax code is embossed on the side one label.

As mentioned above the side two label INCORRECTLY lists the track 'Do You Want To Know a Secret' as 'Do You Want a Know a Secret' missing out the word 'TO'. The vinyl is housed within the original front laminated sleeve. An unusual and rare addition to any Beatles/1960's collection. How many 2nd pressings still retain this error?

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7TCE 762-2N 24 TOR KT

Side 2. 7TCE 763-1N 8 AOR KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT- condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
