THE BEATLES - 1965 Y&B Parlophone Mono LP: 'Rubber Soul' -1 / -1 LOUD CUT.
Original first press 'Loud Cut' in Mono. KT Tax Code and San Serif Typeface on the labels. Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve print.
Side One: Deadwax Matrix XEX 579 - 1 with the Mother being 1 at 9 O'clock and the letters OD, 50th stamper at 3'Oclock.
Side Two: Deadwax Matrix XEX 580 - 1 with the Mother being 3 at 9 O'clock and the letters MT, 73rd stamper at 3'Oclock.
Visual Grade: Vinyl is a glossy strong EX, with a small non feelable surface scuff on track 3 'You Won't See Me' on side 1 (NAP) and a couple of tiny surface scuff dots each on tracks 1 & 2 (NAP); a scattering of a few very light fine non feelable hairlines when held at an angle, otherwise clean, no deep scratches.
The labels show light spindle trails when held at an angle. Spindle hole has minimal wear showing it hasn't been played to death.
The sleeve is a strong VG++ overall with light ageing; the front is Excellent with very light handling; no ringwear. No splits, tears or writing; clean pinched spine with text fully readable and a nice solid cover opening with very light handling; the reverse sleeve has light handling at the cover opening and some age discolouration overall. The original inner Sleeve is EX with the LP title written on one side. Play Grade: I've played this a few times to test and it played through cleanly with no issues on my TT. Great sounding copy.
