The Beatles - 'The Beatles (The White Album)'. PMC 7067 / PMC 7068
The Beatles 1968 UK 1st MONO ODEON EXPORT pressing of the 'The Beatles White Album' LP. Released on the 22nd November 1968, and offered here FULLY COMPLETE and with incredibly rare ODEON EXPORT STICKERED VINYL.
Released on the dark UK Apple label, all four sides of the vinyl feature the 'Sold in The UK ....' statement. Side four features an embossed ‘KJT’ tax code.
Each of the green Apple labels features a large gold foil Odeon sticker indicating this was destined for export out of the UK to a country in which the Apple trademark was not registered or recognised. The matrix numbers on ALL four sides of the vinyl are the very earliest produced with each side ending in -1 (see below for full details).
The vinyl are housed within the original black die cut inner sleeves and come complete with large original poster and set of four colour prints (2 Ringo for some reason, missing John). The cover is the original top opening sleeve which has embossed 'THE BEATLES' and the unique number of ’0602737'. A very, very rare issue.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1. XEX 709-1 6 MP
Side 2. XEX 710-1 3 MT
Side 3. XEX 711-1 2 3 TA
Side 4. XEX 712-1 8 GMD
