Description
I have been collecting, buying and selling Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for many, many years now. I know the importance of accurate gradings and descriptions which you will find here. I ALWAYS offer a money back guarantee.
The Beatles - ‘Help ! / I’m Down’. R 5305.
The Beatles 1969 UK pressing of the ’Help ! / I’m Down' 7” single. This is is an extremely rare variation of this single which has NO ‘SOLD IN UK….’ text but DOES HAVE ‘THE PARLOPHONE CO.LTD’ rim print. In theory this combination and therefore this label variation SHOULD NOT EXIST. The ’Sold in UK….’ text was removed in 1969 and ‘The Parlophone Co.Ltd’ rim print changed to ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd’ in 1965. It comes housed within the original Parlophone sleeve. A very rare variation in EXCELLENT+/EXCELLENT condition.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. 7XCE 18280-2: 15 ROH KT
Side 2. 7XCE 18281-2: 17 ROR KT
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition on the a side and EXCELLENT- condition on the b side. BUT the vinyl has very small 3mm crack/manufacturing fault on the outside edge. Should you wish to play the vinyl rather than collect it for it’s rarity you will have to lower the stylus after the small crack.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
