Various Artists - 'The Walls Ice Cream E.P'. CT 1.
Apple Records 1969 UK Walls Ice Cream E.P complete with original picture sleeve. These E.P's were ONLY ever available through a short lived promotional mail order campaign by Walls Ice Cream in the UK in July 1969. To receive the E.P you had to collect a number of ice lolly wrappers and send them back to Walls with a fee of 6/6d.
The E.P features four Apple recording artists - The Iveys (later changed their name to Badfinger) 'Storm in a Teacup', James Taylor 'Something's Wrong', Jackie Lomax 'Little Yellow Pill' and Mary Hopkin 'Pebble and the Man'. Two of the Beatles, George Harrison and Paul McCartney were producers on this E.P.
Both sides of the vinyl feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text. The side two label features an embossed ‘KJT’ tax code. This must have been pressed in error as that tax code ended in 1968.
This Apple record never charted and was only ever briefly available in the UK. As such it is now a rare item for both 1960's and Beatles collectors. A rare addition to any Apple / Beatles collection.

Side 2. CT 1B-2 2 GM KT
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
