The Beatles - 'Let It Be'. PCS 7096
The Beatles 1970 UK ODEON EXPORT pressing of the 'Let It Be' LP. Released on the 8th May 1970, this incredibly rare export issue features ODEON EXPORT STICKERED VINLY AND SLEEVE. It is offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT condition.
Released on the dark UK Apple label the side one label features a large gold foil Odeon sticker with the rear cover featuring a smaller gold foil Odeon sticker covering the Apple Records logo. These indicate this was destined for export out of the UK to a country in which the Apple trademark was not registered or recognised. The vinyl has very early matrix numbers ending in 3U/2U and comes housed within the original Apple Records inner sleeve. A very, very rare issue of this album which to my knowledge is currently undocumented.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 773-3U 2 3 GLP
Side 2. YEX 774-2U 4 GRA
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. BUT has a seam split to the bottom edge. I shall include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
