The Beatles - 'Magical Mystery Tour' E.P. SMMT 1
The Beatles 1980’s UK pressing of the ’Magical Mystery Tour' E.P. Quite a rarity here as the labels applied actually date from 1969 (with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ rim print).
The labels also have a distinct ridged centre showing it to be a Virgin records contract pressing. The same ridge can be found on other 1980’s records such as Paul McCartney’s Spies Like Us from 1985. This would probably be down to cost cutting - using up old stock labels.
The vinyl are housed within black inners and STEREO gatefold sleeve with yellow lyric sheet still attached. A rare issue.
They cover is made from much, much thinner card and does not have internal flip backs like the 1967 1st pressing. The final page of the sleeve also omits the text relating to the Beatles Fan Club. I have photographed this sleeve next to a 1967 original to show the difference (the 1967 sleeve is not included here). The sleeve comes fully complete with the booklet and yellow lyric insert sheet. Both discs are housed within what I am sure are the original 1980’s black inner sleeves. A very rare issue here.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT condition.
All labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Some staining to the inside first and last page.
